Update on Novaden

Wow! It’s been a while. Sadly, too much of my posts start with this sentence… Anyway, a lot has happened since the last post. As I announced a little more than a year ago, I was starting my company, Novaden. As of this month, Novaden is no more! However, it has already been several months since I stopped working on it. The reason was I couldn’t handle both the work for the company and consulting contracts to pay the bills. A common pitfall! It was a quick adventure which nonetheless brought me some experience dealing with creating a company and handling daily business matters. It was very enlightening.

Fortunately, I got a job proposal at a French startup for which I was doing some work, right at the time where I was asking myself what to do with Novaden. I accepted and I have now been officially  working at Allmyapps for nearly seven months. It’s a great company with fantastic people and I love my work!

A lot is going on there and we are moving at a quick pace which explains in part the lack of activity on my open source projects. I have a bunch of unfinished projects that I really want to publish and I really need to release the latest version of Atomik. I hope to do this before the fall.

All of my projects are now hosted on Github at https://github.com/maximebf.
